You are invited to Coventry 26 to 30 September 2025 for our CCN International Gathering. Providing the opportunity to meet others, share stories and learn together, we will join in the Jubilee celebrations at the Cathedral, giving thanks for God’s gift of reconciliation and hope.
The International Gathering provides a unique meeting point for all our CCN partners, to worship and pray together, share our stories of hope and pain, encourage and support each other and learn together in the ongoing task of reconciliation. It is being held in Coventry during 2012 to mark the 50th Jubilee of Coventry Cathedral, the spiritual home of the Community of the Cross of Nails.
Taking place over Michaelmas, the Patronal Festival Eucharist of St Michael’s Cathedral will be the climax of the gathering on the Sunday. The programme will be set in the liturgical context of the rhythms of the Cathedral including the Friday midday Litany in the Ruins.
The tone will be one of pilgrimage, sharing together at mealtimes and in prayer. Bible Study by invited speakers followed by reflection in small groups will start each day. Workshops where CCN Partners will share their story and insights will be complimented by evening sessions where keynote speakers will help us think about the role of the CCN in today’s world. The Saturday evening will be a gala event joining with the Cathedral Community in celebrating the international ministry from Coventry Cathedral.
An outline programme is available to download as a pdf file here.
The event begins with 2pm registration on Wednesday 26 September and ends with the Cathedral Patronal Eucharist on Sunday 30 (finished by 12 noon).
We want to encourage every CCN Partner to be represented at this special occassion, ideally by at least two people.
