CCN UK Partners are invited to Coventry on the 14 to 15 June 2025 for our CCN UK Gathering; a chance to meet others from the CCN UK network, share stories and learn together what it means to work and pray for justice, peace and reconciliation in the UK today.
The CCN UK Gathering provides a space to discuss how we can grow together as a living network in the UK. We want to encourage our CCN Partners and Friends, ICON Schools and interested churches or organizations to share stories of pain and hope, connect with each other and develop as an organic community.
The programme is set in the liturgical rhythm of the Cathedral’s life. We will start with the Litany of Reconciliation on Friday at noon in the Ruins of Coventry Cathedral. Afterwards we will use the time to get to know each other, sharing our stories and experiences of reconciliation.
There will be space for prayer and meditation in the inspiring setting of Coventry Cathedral. On Saturday Morning we will embark on a Pilgrimage walk around the old Ruins of St. Michael’s Cathedral.
Later there will be discussion sessions in small groups about the future of the CCN in the UK and what it means for us in today’s British society to work and pray for peace, justice and reconciliation.

The event begins officially with the Litany of Reconciliation at noon in the ruins. Registration starts at 10.30 am and the gathering concludes on Saturday 1.30 pm with a lunch in St. Michael’s House.
We want to encourage every CCN Partner and ICON School in the UK to be represented at this special occasion.
There are limited places for those in the UK new to the CCN and are wishing to explore what it would mean for their church or school to join the CCN.
FOOD - Sharing over meals will be a major part of getting to know each other. Friday lunch and dinner and Saturday lunch will be included in the cost.
ACCOMMODATION - Unfortunately we cannot provide accommodation and you will need to book your own night’s accommodation in Coventry. If required we also can send you a list of hotel suggestions near the cathedral.
COSTS - The total cost (including food, excluding accommodation) for the CCN UK Gathering is £40.00 per participant.
