On Saturday 12 November 2011 CCN Partner, the Martin-Luther-Memorial Church, will hold a Day of Reconciliation from 10 am to 6 pm.
Situation in the Berlin suburb of Mariendorf the church, having been a symbol of Nazi architecture and use of religion, received a Cross of Nails in 1962 just as the Berlin wall was being erected and has been a beacon of hope and post war reconciliation since then.
This day is part of the season of Friedensdekade which runs in the Lutheran church from 6th to 16th November. It is a time for reflection, repentance and reconciliation and the theme this year is Greed-Power-War. Special speaker at this event will be Johanna Falk from CCN in Wurzburg
